I’m Sacha Horsthuis [pronounced “Hos-tows” ;)]

My background comes from over 10 years working across marketing, communications and business growth — from global corporate brands through to co-owning and scaling an industry-leading lifestyle business here on the Isle of Man.

Most recently, I spent eight years helping build a multi-faceted customer-facing cafe-bikeshop & wellness hub from a start-up (literally, with bricks & mortar!) into one of the Island’s busiest and most recognisable brands; spanning retail, hospitality, fitness and events. During that time, I was proud to be awarded the Institute of Directors, Director of the Year (SME).

That experience shaped the way I see marketing.

I’ve always been fascinated by how businesses make people feel — the atmosphere they create, the stories they tell, the customer experiences people remember and the details that quietly build trust over time.

To me, the best brands feel simple, thoughtful and connected.

Everything works together naturally, even though there’s often a huge amount happening behind the scenes.

That’s why I now work closely with a small number of founder-led businesses at a time, immersing myself into the ins and outs of their business helping connect marketing, customer experience and business direction in a way that feels commercially useful and genuinely reflective of the business itself.

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful and built around real life — ongoing conversations, voice notes, planning and practical support that keeps things moving steadily.

Above all, I care about helping businesses, brands and people grow with purpose, not just pace.
